PLEASE change a GOOD quality oil and filters EVERY 5,000 km cause the KTM 690's have oil thinning due to fuel input. Now my Duke 4R has about 70,000 km!!! Just changed the rocker arm precautionary at 47,000 km. Had to change timing chain tensioner at 42,500 km and steering bearings at 58,000km.

Some people suggest breaking them free while still in the triple clamps, but due to the handlebar location, there's no clear shot with a socket without removing the bars.
