New Dawn will not launch. Just bought the game on Steam last night but when I press play I get the "prepairing to launch" pop up box for about 1 second then nothing. Open the game through Uplay. Also make sure you used your key on Uplay.

Try to remove the Steam Files from the game directory if you were launching it with uplay ++ if you baught it from steam and moved the key to uplay you have to open both uplay and steam and if you lost on of them accounts you'll not be able to play !
Then Right-click your Ubisoft Connect and select Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab and. Click Apply > OK. Also, repeat step 1~2 for the Far Cry.exe file. Try restarting the game and see if it helps with the ‘Far Cry 6 not launching’ issue. If not, don’t worry since we have a few more fixes to try.
Same problem here - I bought GF Now Ultimate today to play Far Cry 6 (bought on Steam a couple of days ago), but the game does not launch via GFNow (but it does launch via Steam on my PC). Seems like a waste of money for GFNow :-(
In many cases, Steam will display your CD Key when you first launch your game. If your game launches and asks for a CD Key you do not have, please try the following: Right-click on the game in the Library tab and select View Game CD Key. This option is not available for all Steam games and a CD Key is not required for all games.
